The Core + Claims product allows PSPs to:
- Create a new APP scam claim at the point at which the victim notifies their bank. This will allow the sending bank to notify the receiving bank within the 2-business-hour timeframe outlined in the FPS reimbursement rules
- Receive an APP scam claim after which the receiving bank can utilise the Opportunity to Respond and request the sending bank to ‘stop the clock’
- Progress the scam claim through the various stages of the work flow from Assessment to Decision
- Reimburse the consumer once the RCMS has calculated the amount owed after excess has been applied (if applicable)
- Request the reimbursable contribution amount from the Receiving bank. The RCMS will automatically calculate how much is owed to the sending bank
- Initiate the repatriation workflow if the fraudulent funds are recovered. This can be done mid-workflow or after a claim has been closed and the RCMS will automatically calculate the amounts to be split between sending and receiving banks.
