Setting the Future Standard: Opportunity to engage with the Pay.UK Standards Authority regarding the New Payments Architecture

The Pay.UK Standards Authority is beginning a series of bi-lateral meetings to gather stakeholders’ perspectives and ideas to inform the design and development of standards for the New Payments Architecture (NPA).

This is also an opportunity for participants and organisations who may be interested in becoming participants of the NPA in future to highlight potential enhancements they would like to see reflected in the standards. We intend to hold these bi-laterals over a six week period, and use the outputs from this meeting to develop the draft NPA Standards ahead of more extensive consultation in 2020.

If you would like to set up a bi-lateral meeting with the Pay.UK Standards Authority please register your interest by sending an email to by 4 October 2019.

Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate requests received after this date within the timeframe necessary to include the perspectives gathered in the draft Standard.

This series of bi-laterals sits outside of the formal competitive procurement process Pay.UK is currently running to select a central infrastructure provider for the NPA.
