Benefits

Taking care of our colleagues matters to us and we offer a fantastic range of benefits that are designed with our people in mind.

Pay and rewards

Our salaries are competitive and reward outstanding performance. We also operate a discretionary annual cash bonus scheme. Discretionary bonus payments are dependent on the organisation’s performance and a colleague’s individual contribution from 1 January to 31 December.

Annual leave

Holidays are integral to achieving a healthy work-life balance. We offer a generous 30 days of annual leave each calendar year (excluding public holidays), as well as the opportunity to purchase up to five days of additional leave. It’s important to us that our colleagues get the chance to do what matters most to them, so we also provide two additional days of leave that can be used in a way that helps them to live their dreams. This could be anything from a photography workshop to a track-day driving a top-of-the-range sports car!

We also celebrate our colleagues’ major life events, by giving five days of additional leave upon getting married and an extra day’s leave for moving house.

Health and wellbeing

As well as our financial rewards we offer a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits and services to ensure that all our colleagues feel heathier and happy at work, and at home.

We also have a range of medical benefits available to all our colleagues. These include:

  • Access to private medical insurance
  • Health assessments
  • Second medical opinion service
  • Access to a network of private GP practices
  • Health Cash Plan which provides cashback towards healthcare bills
  • Dental insurance
  • Eye test vouchers

We also support our colleague’s physical health through our £500 annual gym subsidy and cycle-to-work scheme.  The mental health of our colleagues is one of our main priorities so we provide an employee assistance programme and helpline. These are available for 24/7 phone counselling, legal advice and referral for face-to-face therapy. We also provide regular wellbeing webinars and workshops, membership to a Headspace app and colleague mental health first-aiders. We recognise the importance of offering support through different life stages, and we provide menopause support for our colleagues in what can be a difficult and challenging time of transition.

Life

We offer a generous pension plan and we auto-enrol new colleagues into the Company Pension Scheme with Standard Life on their employment start date. Colleagues receive a 12% employer contribution upon commencement of their employment and it is also possible to make additional voluntary contributions (AVCs) to the scheme through salary sacrifice. We also match any colleague additional voluntary contribution up to a total of 1.5%.

All colleagues are able to benefit from life assurance cover of four times their annual salary under the Expected Group Life Assurance Policy, available from the employment start date. All colleagues also benefit from our group income protection scheme.

We also offer other financial benefits such as season ticket loans and travel insurance.

Family

We believe that enabling everyone to balance their career with life outside work and providing the culture and support needed to make this happen is crucial to our success. We have enhanced maternity and adoption pay and offer time off for family emergencies.

Learning and development

We are powered by our people and we believe the best way to empower our colleagues is through continuous development with a £1,000 per colleague per year training allowance. This sits alongside internal programmes of mentoring, shadowing and a comprehensive learning hub, powered by Percipio Skillsoft. This platform offers over 6,000 courses in 21 different formats (books, audible books, videos, hands-on labs and many more) with a learning programme that can be tailored to fit individual needs.
